Kentucky High School Football

I attended the Kentucky Class 6A State Championship on Saturday, December 13 at Papa John Stadium in Louisville, Kentucky. Trinity Shamrocks faced Simon Kenton Pioneers. An old college buddy is currently the Defensive Line/Tight Ends Coach for Simon Kenton.
It was a match-up of David v. Goliath. Trinity is a powerhouse winning state three years in a row. Simon Kenton started the season 3-4 and finished the year winning 7 in a row. Trinity beat Simon Kenton 48-0, winning their 4th straight Championship, 7th of the last 8 years and number 19 in total.
This is what the Simon Kenton Pioneers Coach had to same about the Rocks, “Their offense is incredible,” Pioneers coach Jeff Marksberry said of the Shamrocks. “They’re a well-oiled machine offensively. They go and go and go and go, and it’s something you can’t duplicate in practice. … They’re so skilled, so technical, so fast. They do a fantastic job.” courier-journal.com
