Facebook public profile sees a surge

This past week, Eastern Kentucky University’s public profile saw its largest increase in the number of fans since it went public. The highlight feature and new feed to include updates from fan pages I believe are the reasons for the big jump. 528 new fans over a three day period; April 13 – April 15 (see chart below).

I watched this clip yesterday at noon for the first time – it had 11 million views. Only 24 hours later and it has 19.6 million views. It was posted only 6 days ago.
