So, I just recently heard of this expression, “mom jeans.” This has all come to light because of Jessica Simpson sporting her mom jeans a few weeks ago. See image below.
The origin of the term came from this SNL commercial.

And I guess all this hits home because this is what my mom used to wear too! Good stuff.
